Pulwama July 01 . District Authorities Pulwama today suspended a senior Pharmacist , prima facie found obustructing the COVID mitigation efforts besides impeding the public health authorities in discharging their duties.
An enquiry has been initiated against the senior Pharmacist and has been attached with the office of Additional Deputy commissioner ,Tral .
Meanwhile , Additional Deputy commissioner Tral has been designated as an enquiry Officer in the matter and has been asked to to chargesheet the delinquent employee with the directions to submit the report within a weeks time.
A senior official spokesperson said that an FIR no 153/020 stands lodged under section 188 ,353, 500 of IPC besides section 51(b) of Disaster Management act has also been invoked.
He added that the pharmacist owns a private Nursing Home which has been requestioned by District Disaster Management Authority in the month of March for COVID mitigation efforts and was already booked for derailing the efforts of health authorities in better delivery of health care services.
