KARGIL JUNE 24, 2020: District Magistrate/ Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary has issued a circular directing therein that in view of the prevailing situation in the district due to COVID-19 pandemic cases, the Head of Departments/ District Officers shall not leave the station nor allow their sub ordinate staff to leave the station without obtaining prior permission from the competent authority.
The circular further reads that the officers/officials must remain present at their station during this crucial situation.
According to the circular, the Departmental Heads/District Officers of all departments have been instructed that they will not leave the station without sanctioning the leave/station permission from the competent authority on any pretext in future.
The circular further reads that non-compliance of the instructions shall be viewed seriously and action shall be initiated against the defaulters under rules.
