J&K reports 4 more COVID-19 deaths, Tally rises to 69

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported four more death due to COVID-19 on Wednesday, taking the fatality count due to the virus in the J&K to 69.

While two deaths took place in Jammu, two were reported from the Kashmir, a 65-year-old woman from Tengpora Batamaloo and a 70-year-old resident of Wadvan Budgam.

Medical Superintendent JMC Dr Dara Singh told a 65-year-old COVID-19 patient from Tallab Tillo died in isolation ward due “respiratory failure.”

Another patient was from Aknoor, a 68-year-old man, and died at the same facility, sources said.

So far, 69 people have succumbed to the Coronavirus in J&K, 09 from Jammu division and 60 from Kashmir division.
