JAMMU : DIG 1RP Jammu has granted in-situ promotion to 166 Police Personnel, (Head-Constables and Selection Grade Constables) of various Battalions of IR Jammu Zone,
“The personnel who had completed nine years or more with clean record, on the recommendation of Departmental Promotion Committee proceedings, have been granted in-situ promotion” an official handout stated.
The Committee cleared the promotion of (01) Head Constables and (165) Sg. Constables who will get next higher scale in their respective rank.
DIG congratulated promotes and their families for these well deserved promotions and asked the personnel to work with more dedication and commitment to achieve the organizational goals. He urged upon the personnel to perform duties with added zeal to win laurels for the force, particularly in the light of various challenges that the country is presently facing.
