Shopian, June 10: Two terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter that broke between terrorist’s and the security forces in Sugoo Hendhama village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday
An official told, that two terrorists have been killed in an exchange of fire while as operation is on in the area.
Earlier an official said that a joint team of Police, army’s 44 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
Pertinently 9 terrorists including top hizb commanders were killed in two separate encounters at Reban and Pinjura Villages of district on June 7 and 8.
