Rajouri, June 04: A terrorist has been killed in initial exchange of fire between security forces at kalakote area of Rajouri district in Jammu division, officials said.
A police official part of the operation confirmed to The Earth News Network that a terrorist has been eliminated in the exchange of gunfire.
He said searchers are still on in the area and more development from the spot will shared once final details emerge.
earlier an official said that forces launched CASO after inputs about the presence of terrorists in Panjah Mehari village of Kalakote area of the district, adding that during the searches, gunshots were heard in the area.
They said senior Army and police officials have also rushed to the spot.
