Srinagar, June 03: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, KK Sharma on Wednesday said the government has not taken any decision to re-open the schools in Jammu and Kashmir.

“We have not taken any decision yet on re-opening of schools,” Sharma told.

He said decision on the matter will be taken after holding consultations with different stakeholders.

Advisor Sharma, however, said that instructions have been issued to schools to ensure sanitization of school premises in view of Covid-19 across J&K.

All the educational institutions including Schools, Colleges and Universities were closed across Jammu and Kashmir in wake of the deadly Coronavirus outbreak that claimed over 30 lives so far in the Union Territory.
