Srinagar, May 31: Sopore Police and Security Forces Arrested 03 LeT terrorist outfit associates ,arms & ammunition and other incriminating materials recovered.
Police in it’s statement said that Today on 30-05-2020, Sopore Police/ 22-RR & 179 Bn CRPF in a joint operation at Shangergund on Sopore Kupwara Road arrested three terrorist associates of LeT outfit having their identity as:-
01. Mushtaq Ahmad Mir @ Lashkiri S/O Ab Gaffar Mir R/O Brath Kalan Sopore
02. Mudasir Ahmad Mir S/O Mohd Hamza Mir R/O Brath Kalan Sopore
03. Athar Shamas Mir S/O Shams-u-din Mir R/O Brath Kalan Sopore
Incriminating materials including following arms and ammunitions were recovered from the possession:-
01. UBGL Thrower = 01 No.
02. UBGL Grenades = 04 No
03. AK- 47 Magazine = 04 No.
04. AK- 47 Ammun. = 137 Rds.
Regarding the incident Case FIR No. 125/2020 U/S 7/25 I. A. Act, 18, 23, 38 ULA (P) Act registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation taken up.
