Kulgam, May 30: A gunfight broke out between terrorist’s and the security forces in Wanpora area of Qaimoh in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday morning.
Official sources told, a joint team of Police, army’s Ist RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Wanpora on Friday.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorist’s fired upon them, triggering an encounter.
A senior police officer also confirmed the exchange of fire between forces and terrorist’s . As per the sources, two to three terrorist’s are believed to be trapped.
