TWO BSF MARTYRED IN THE FIRING BY UNIDENTIFIED TERRORISTS IN PANDICH GANDHERBAL
Humhama (Srinagar) 20 May 2020: On 20 May 2020 at about 1710 hrs some unknown terrorists fired upon troops of C’ Company of 37 Battalion BSF’, deployed as a part of Adhoc K- 7 Bn BSFin Pandich area under PS Soura, District Ganderbal for law and order duty since August 2019. The incident occurred when the troops were on their ROP duty and the motorcycle borne terrorists suddenly appeared and opened fired on them; injuring two BSF personnel namely, Regt No. 098770133 CT Rana Mondol and Regt No. 130843597 CT Jiaul Haque who later succumbed to their injuries. The terrorists managed to take away the weapons of the martyrs. Area has been cordoned off the search for the terrorists is on. Further, details awaited.
