Srinagar, May 12: Authorities in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir Monday late evening restored slow speed mobile internet across the valley after remaining shut for almost five days.
Internet was shut on may 06 after security forces managed to neutralise the valley’s most wanted terrorist Riyaz Nikoo in an encounter in his native village in southern belt of Kashmir.
Calling the elimination of Nikoo as major success authorities suspended mobile internet services in order to thwart any misuse of internet and misinformation being spread over social media sites.
It’s recalled that, Nikoo was the only surviving member of Burhan Wani led group in Kashmir valley.
