Srinagar | 06-May: Top Hizbul Commander Riyaz Naikoo along with an associate has been killed in an encounter at Beighpora, Awantipora of Pulwama district of Kashmir.
An encounter had been started in the early morning hours in Beighpora on the credible inputs of the presence of top HM terrorist Riyaz Naikoo, which is being told that is his native village.
In the encounter by the security forces a local terrorist has also been killed which is being said to be of Pulwama and was long time associate of Naikoo.
As per the local source, the operation has been over and there were only two terrorists present at the Beighpora encounter spot.
More details of the 2nd terrorist are being ascertained.
