250 Bedded Army COVID-19 Hospital Inaugurated in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 03: About 250 bedded Army COVID-19 Hospital which came up in collaboration with Directorate of Health Services Kashmir was today inaugurated by Shri Pandurang K. Pole, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Major General Raju Chauhan in presence of Dr Samir Mattoo, Director Health Services Kashmir and other senior officers of Health department at Rangret Srinagar.

This facility has a bed strength of about 250 beds with material logistics well in place to deal with COVID-19 Patients.

The Facility will be run by the staff provided by Directorate of Health Services Kashmir with active support from Indian Army.

Directorate of Health Services Kashmir has deployed about 22 Doctors which include Physicians, Anesthetists and Medical officers apart from 30 Paramedics. Supportive staff has also been deployed.
