Combating COVID-19:-  CEC Wangyal interacts with students evacuated from Kota at Hotel Mansarover Leh

Leh, April 30 :  The Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Leh Gyal P. Wangyal today morning met with students evacuated from Kota, Rajasthan at Hotel Mansarover Leh.

A total of 31 students including 26 girls and five boys of Leh district reached Leh today morning from Kargil who will be quarantined for next 14 days in Quarantine Centre (Hotel Mansarover Leh). 57 students of Ladakh started their journey on 26th April from Kota, Rajasthan by road in Buses following COVID-19 SOP and protocol.

CEC Wangyal welcoming evacuee students asked about their wellbeing and urged them to download the Arogya Setu App on their mobiles which is an important tool and lifelines for people during this global pandemic and fighting against Covid-19. He urged students to be patient and use their precious time sensibly during next two weeks.

ACR Leh Rigzin Splagon and Nodal Officer Quarantine Centre ( Hotel Mansarover) A.D Fisheries Mohd Amin  informed CEC about the facilities being planned  for students during quarantine period.
