Jammu | 20 Mar | TEN Network: A fake message is being spread over the social media which says that 1st confirmed case of Corona Virus has been case found in Jammu city’s Gandhi Nagar. The message further says that the infected person has returned from Thailand on March 19. It further mentions that 5 members and one servant of the family has also got infected from him and the whole area has been sealed.
It also adds that 6 more case in two families in Shastri Nagar and 2 cases in Trikuta nagar has been detected after which an emergency meeting of the officials is announced.
The Earth News when contacted the Vinay Sharma, SP South Jammu City, he informed that this is a fake order and the investigation into this has been initiated to nab the culprits involved in circulating this fake message on whatsapp and social media. He said that strict action will be taken against any person who will circulate such fake messages to disturb the law and order of the city.
