Poonch: District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav  today convened a joint meeting of district officers and Block Development Chairpersons to review the implementation of  various flagship schemes here in the conference Hall of DC Office complex.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, SE Hydraulics, CEO Municipality, Chief Education officer, Chief Medical officer, Chief Agriculture  and sheep husbandry officer,  Executive agencies, Assistant Commissioner Labour, DPO, Social welfare Officer, Chief Medical Officer, CEO Tourism, Bank officers beside other concerned officers and all BDC chairpersons.

The DDC reviewed the progress on implementation of Ayushman Bharat, PM Kissan, PMSYM, skill development/Entreneurship schemes, Nai Manzil Scheme, Nai Roshni Scheme,  Ujwal Youjana, social welfare and minority scheme, Deendayal Viklang Punarwaas, KCC and various flagship schemes  in the district.

The DDC asked BDC Chairpersons to motivate and enroll maximum persons in various flagship Schemes. It was informed that the aim of the meeting is to bridge the gap between BDC Chairpersons and District officers. He asked BDC Chairpersons to make every possible effort for ensuring 100% Coverage of government Flagship programmes.

During the meeting, DDC instructed the officer to organise awareness camps and aware the general public about the schemes  so that eligibles could avail benefits from the schemes. The DDC also asked the District Panchayat Officer to ensure the Participation of all the BDC Chairperson in awareness meetings so that desired results could be achieved.

DDC stressed on officers to complete the registration of left out beneficiaries within the stipulated timeline.
