RAMBAN, JANUARY 08: 

District Development Commissioner Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today formally released the logo of the District in a function.

While talking to the media persons, DDC said the district administration has designed a logo to substantiate the potential as well as vision document of district Ramban to ensure overall and sustainable development of every nook and corner of district.

DDC said that the Logo denotes five elements peculiar to Ramban district which include the Chenani-Nashri Tunnel, Railway Tunnels in Banihal, Hydro Power Projects, Honey and Anardana. He informed that now this Logo will be used in all official communications.

The Logo was selected by the a District Level Committee under the chairmanship of the DDC and comprised of ADC Ashok Sharma, ASP Sanjay Parihar, CPO Dr. Kasturi Lal, CEO AH Fani and DPO Sunil Bhutyal besides special invitees SSP Ramban Anita Sharma and ACR Harbans Sharma.

The logo was finalized through a contest in which 16 entries of logo designed by the different persons across the district were received by the District Information Centre. Among the entries, the logo made by a student, Sajjad Hussain Sheikh, resident of Batote was selected, who would be awarded a cash prize and commendation certificate on republic day celebration.
