Jammu, Jan 4, TEN Network | Army organised a Veterans Sampark Sammelan for the Next of Kins of Soldiers, Veer Naris and Veterans residing in and around Pathankot District at Mamun Military Station under the aegis of Rising Star Corps on 04 January 2020.
The event was attended by more than 600 NOKs, Veer Naris and Veterans. During the event, Veer Naris, NOKs and Disabled Veterans were felicitated.
To address the issue and grievances of Veterans, Next of Kins and Veer Naris, various stalls from Army, State Government and Private Sector including Banks were established. In addition, a Medical camp was also be organised during the mega event wherein many Veer Naris, Next of Kin and Veterans were examined & treated.
The solemn initiative to look after the Veer Naris, Next of Kin and Veterans of Armed Forces was duly appreciated by all attendees.
