Poonch, Dec 03, TEN Network | A lady was killed and seven other civilian suffered injuries after Pakistan violated the ceasefire along the line of control at Kerni sector poonch in jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday late afternoon.
Reports said that, a lady, Gulnaz Akther 35, was killed by Pakistan firing after they targeted the civilian population this afternoon resulting in severe panic among the people in the mean time seven more civilians were hospitalized after they suffered grave injuries.
Reports further said that a Gurdwara, Nagli Sahab also came under the attack but it cant be said at this earnest as how much damage has been caused, the heavy exchange of artillery along the LoC has triggered panic among the civilian who have left their homes to escape the shells being fired from Pakistan.
Indian troopers are giving befitting reply, Heavy exchange of fire is still going on in the area, public in reach was immediately shifted from the area, an official said.
The official identified the injured as, Shain Akhter 22Years wife of Gulzar RO Mankote , Munir Hussain Shah 22 years son of Manzoor Hussain Shah, Shoib Ahmed 16 years s\o Mohd Bashir, Mohd Ayoub 30 years s\o Fateh Mohd, Rehan Ahmed 5 years s\o Mohd Tariq , Nazir Hussain 55 years s\o Attah Mohd and Fatima Bano 18, Daughter of Mohd Mushtaq all are the local residents of Poonch.
