Mumbai, Nov 23, TEN Network | The Congress party said that it is confident of forming the government in Maharashtra along with Shiv Sena and NCP despite Ajit Pawar’s stunner on Saturday.
Before Congress’s media briefing, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray addressed a press conference where Pawar described his nephew Ajit Pawar’s decision to ally with the BJP as indiscipline and said the Devendra Fadnavis government would not be able to win a floor test in the assembly.
Early Saturday morning, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Maharashtra Chief Minister along with Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar as the deputy chief minister. (HT)
