Srinagar, Oct 2, : All India Rahul Gandhi Fans Association State President Pirzada Muhammad Shafi Tuesday paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 149th Birth anniversary.
He said the Gandhi was rightly described the father of the nation because of ideology and contribution towards the nation.
Pirzada Muhammad Shafi said that Mahatma Gandhi won the hearts of people and forced Britishers to leave India through his non-violent methods.
“If Gandhi’s principles and followed in true spirit, then peace will prevail everywhere,” he said.
