Jammu, October 2: A Police Party of PS Samba during patrolling in the Main Bazar, Samba intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances. During frisking, 51 bottles of illicit liquor (JK Desi Whisky) of 180 ml each were recovered from his possession.
The accused person identified as Vijay Kumar S/o Babu Ram R/o Sagal, Samba was arrested and illicit liquor was also seized on the spot. In this regard a case FIR No. 257/2018 U/S 48 (F) Excise Act has been registered in PS Samba and investigation started.
The said operation was carried out by the police team of PS Samba headed by Inspr Chanchal Singh, SHO Samba under the supervision of Sh Deepak Digra, DYSP Hqrs Samba and under the overall supervision of Dr Koshal Sharma JKPS SSP Samba.
