UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 29:-The students of Government Degree College for Women, Udhampur has won laurels for the institution as they bagged first price in Group Folk Dance at the mega event ‘Display your Talent’ held at University of Jammu
The College participated in a number of literary, theatrical and musical activities with absolute ardour under the guidance of Principal Dr. Chander Shekhar.
It bagged 1st prize in group dance folk held on the valedictory day .
The principal congratulated the students and extended his best wishes in their future endeavors. He also encouraged all those students who participated in the event and said that one should keep putting in efforts because “it is not important to win the race but it is important to be in the race.”
He also congratulated all faculty members who were involved in the conduct of the event, cultural committee in general and music department in particular
