RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 05: – District Development Commissioner Ramban, Showkat Aijaz Bhat convened a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements registered under CSS, flagship programmes and District Capex Budget 2018-19 of Rural Development Department held here today at Maitra.

            ADC, Dr. Gurvinderjeet Singh, ACD Ramban, G H Kripak, DPO, Tariq Suhrawardy, BDOs, BLWs besides other field functionaries of RDD were present in the meeting.

            During the meeting, the DDC reviewed Panchayat wise progress of physical verification and Geo-Tagging under ODF and directed the field functionaries to complete the process within stipulated time frame.

            He directed the BDOs to ensure registration of beneficiaries under PMAY-G so that deserving beneficiaries would get benefit under the scheme.

            DDC stressed upon the functionaries to raise awareness among the masses about RDD programmes for its effective implementation on ground. He further asked the officers to involve women folk under various schemes so that the benefits of the same could percolate to them.

ACD briefed the DDC about the physical and financial achievements under MGNREGA.

The DDC asked the BDOs to generate maximum man days under MGNREGA for providing livelihood to job seekers.

              Regarding “Swachh Bharat Mission” the DDC directed the officers to hold awareness camps and programmes on regular intervals in coordination with other departments to aware the people about importance of sanitation and cleanliness.
