Leh, August 18: Delhi Public School, Leh students participated in the Inter-School Archery and Table-Tennis Competition organized by the J&K Youth Sports and Services Department Leh in which all the schools of Leh district participated. Chuskit Angmo of DPS Leh clinched two Gold Medals in 50 metres Archery where as Tanveer Ahmed clinched Silver Medal in the 40 metres state Archery Competition where as Stanzin Namgail clinched Gold Medal in Archery.
It is pertinent to mention here that Chuskit Angmo and Tanveer Ahmed are being selected to represent Leh in the forth coming National events. Felicitating the students in the Special –Assembly Principal of the school Subhash Kumar Baldotra appreciated and applauded the efforts of the students and he advised the students to be focused, attentive and give their 100% in order to achieve success not only in Sports but in every sphere of life .He further said that sincere efforts together with the hard-work will bring desired results. He also complimented their Coach Padma Thinless .
Pro-Vice Chairperson DPS Leh T.P. Singh also congratulated the winner students and their parents for their success. He further asked and advise the students to pay their full attention towards the accomplishment of any task they are taking in their hands with utmost care and sincerity.
