People shall understand importance of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan: MP
EARTH NEWS SERVICE| Jammu, Jan 18 |16: Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, alongwith MLA from Raipur-Domana assembly constituency Bali Bhagat, inaugurated newly constructed Bathing Ghat at Marjali-Amb falling in Bhalwal block in presence of a large number of BJP activists and general public of Marjali and adjoining areas. It has been constructed by Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj under the MPLAD Scheme. Jugal Kishore Sharma, on this occasion, said that the central government has initiated a number of schemes for the development and betterment of the rural areas and separate funds are earmarked for making available the basic amenities to the rural population He said that the people should understand the importance of the concept of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, adopt the same in their practical day to day activities and contribute in maintaining cleanliness not only in their own houses but also in areas around them as it saves from many diseases and gives a healthy life. He announced a sum of rupees five lakh for the development of village Manyal. Jugal Kishore Sharma, also assured to fulfil the demand of the local people for installation of a new transformer at Gharota and said that whatever genuine demand is made by the people from any area of his Parliamentary constituency, is taken up seriously and every effort is made to ensure that the same is fulfilled as per their aspirations within the shortest possible time. Bali Bhagat, while announcing rupees six lakh each for villages Marjali and Gharota for their development and extension of three IAY projects for village Manyal and five similar projects for Gharota, said that there are various welfare schemes which have been launched with a sole motive of economic upliftment of the poor and needy people and such families are being identified to help them in getting the benefits of the same. Besides BJP District President Omi Khajuria and Mandal President Ved Prakash, Block Development Officers of Bhalwal and Marh also accompanied the MP during his visit to Marjali, Manyal and Gharota.
