EARTH NEWS SERVICE Samba, Dec 15 |15: First one day Farmers training programme organized in ON FARM SCHOOL at village Channi Jassu Panchyat Sadoh Block Samba Under National Mission on Agricultural Extension and Technology Rabi 2015-16. Before the start of the farmers training programme in ON FARM SCHOOL Project Director NMAET District Samba V. K. Bhushan brief the farmers regarding importance of ON FARM SCHOOL in the field of Extension and advise them to remain punctual and alert during all the six training programmes which will be conducted at Different Stages of the Wheat Crop. Dy. Project Director NMAET District Samba Ashok Gupta while interacting with the farmers and keeping in view the need of the hour deliver effective technical Message regarding Seed Treatment with Carbandazim and Tebuconazole and soil treatment by using farm yard manure with bio pesticide Trichoderma. He further gave suggestion to the participating farmers not to dump cowdung here and there and adopt scientific and Organic based technology in their respective fields for betterment of their production and productivity. Senior Scientist from Advance centre for Rain fed Agriculture SKAUST-J Rakh Dhiansar Dr Vikas Abrol Deliver impressive and effective lecture to the farmers of the ON FARM SCHOOL on soil health card and gave practical demonstration regarding collection of Soil Samples from the field before sowing of the crop.
