Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings Choudhary Lal Singh was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister called for promoting moral education in all government as well as and private educational institutions to protect age old moral ethics and rich cultural heritage of the State. He said “our moral ethos is getting eroded under the influence of western culture and need of the hour is to preserve our age old traditions. Choudhary Lal Singh said that all government and such private institutions should redouble their efforts ensuring that quality education is imparted to students. He further added that students are building blocks of a strong foundation of the nation. The Minister asked the teaching fraternity to help students imbibe values through education. He added that teachers are architects who shape personality of students and mould them to be good human beings. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the school asked the students to work hard and show their excellence in coming exams. He said education is vital for better tomorrow and asked students to share their knowledge to gain knowledge. Earlier, students of the school presented a colorful cultural programme. Later, mementos were also distributed among the meritorious students who brought laurels to the school during JKBOSE exams and extra-curricular activities in 2013-14. Principal, staff members including students and parents were also present on the occasion.
