Srinagar, Dec 09 |15: To ensure better healthcare facilities in health institutions particularly in late hours, the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Ms Aseia Naqash conducted a surprise visit of Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial (JLNM) and Gousia hospitals in Shaher-iKhaas last evening. During her surprise visit, the Minister took stock of the facilities being provided to the patients and inspected various wards and investigation units. During her visit, the Minister asked the hospital administration to ensure better healthcare and diagnostic facilities to the patients. She also instructed hospital administrations to ensure sufficient stock of medicine and display the list of available medicine in the hospitals for information of the attendants. Ms Aseia said that no laxity would be tolerated in healthcare and it should be ensured that patients do not face any difficulty for want of treatment in government hospitals. She gave directions for maintaining hygienic and heating arrangements in the hospital
